When Lauren Conrad tweeted last year that she was coming out with a book 2, I got really excited. For those wondering “who the hell…” LC was the star of the hit MTV reality show “The Hills” and unlike all her cast mates she was the good girl (besides Whitney who left a season prior) with her eyes on the prize. Because of Lauren we went backstage at every fashion show/ event and showed us rookies what to expect as an intern in the industry. Last year she came out with her first novel “LA Candy” a narrative on young hollywood drama. I really enjoyed the first book and was disappointed with the end….well not merely disappointed per say but it left me in much suspense. (Duhhh…thats the objective of an author) Despite what people are saying about her, I support everyone with potential and drive and I would urge most of my readers to pick up the book…. its not what you’re thinking, its nothing about her life or a biography. Im excited about “Sweet Little Lies”, cant wait to see what happens to connivating Madison smh “This is why you need to get the book lol”… FYI she also has a style book coming soon. Keep you posted!
“Chicesta” isnt a word but if it were then that would describe this former The Hills star and fashion designer Lauren Conrad. LC is always super chic and her flowing curls maybe her signature but is never timeless. She spotted a retro look at the MARK Gala recently and is it me or does she have new honey highlights? Anyway…Cute. Her dark eyes , bold red lips and little to no accessories screams the “less is more” look which I absolutely love.
Kohls department store and LC Lauren Conrad collaborated earlier this year on a clothing line which is chic-ly affordable.
One thing I realised while I looked at the garments for the first time was that every piece reflected her personal style. If you’re a supporter (hate the word FAN) of LC then you should know that she’s always simple, really cute and never over done.
Lauren Conrad holds a special place in my heart…Like really! She’s so much different from all other reality stars even her mates from The Hills. She’s so unique, smart and ambiguous.
Here are a few garments from the collection…

Huge Huge Huge Stereotype! Before I read this book I thought it was a behind the scenes of what really happened on The Hills. Wasnt too interested but I thought I’d support Lauren Conrad and I was so anxious to find out why she left The Hills! So i bought the book and too my surprise its the TOTAL OPPOSITE! This book has drama, its fun, it left me in suspense after every page I read and Im really impressed by LC’s first novel. Nothing like The Hills like people thought it would be…

ccording to the New York Post :
LAUREN Conrad’s clothing line is on hiatus until further notice. Los Angeles sources say the MTV reality starlet, who’s wrapping up her last season on “The Hills,” won’t be producing any more seasons of her Lauren Conrad Collection, which launched in fall 2007. Some showrooms got a message from her camp saying, “In light of the economic climate, Lauren has decided to completely rethink her line.” As a result, shipment of the last spring and summer delivery has been canceled, the memo said. Page Six previously reported that the line wasn’t moving in stores like Kitson and Bloomingdale’s. “Lauren is going to revamp her line and design with more high-end fabrics . . . things she couldn’t do the first time around,” a source close to Conrad said. Her rep told us, “With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon.”
So many nasty reviews and comments about this subject. Lauren Conrad has been the star of two reality shows Laguna Beach and then came the spin off “The Hills”. Ever since she has started her own self titled collection you’ve seen her on almost ever red carpet and industry party there is. Young people all over the globe “like myself” have been tuning in every season to watch Lauren and co live their lives. She started her internship at Teen Vogue where she met Whitney Port star of the Hills spin off “The City”. She’s one of many with a dream…a dream to build an empire and with the help of the Hills she has done that much. So why are people mad at her…for cancelling her show? who in their right state of mind would want to have camera’s following them for their entire life? No one…Although I’m a bit sad that the Hills is going on its final season…I understand where Lauren’s coming from, the same way I understand how she used the reality show for a career boost! So what?? Look at Runs Daughter? Daddy’s Girls and their pastry line? ok… now what about Tory Burch? Kool…I figured that much so stop pointing fingers….
